SEATTLE, MARCH 8, 2022-- Expedia Group and Vrbo today announced their 2022 Elite and Preferred Connectivity Partners status designations awarded to 63 top-performing providers in the Connectivity Partner Program. Elite and Preferred Connectivity Partners get early access to new Expedia Group and/or Vrbo tools and features that they can pilot and integrate into their software. They also have opportunities to work directly with leaders from Expedia Group to provide feedback and help shape future products. Additionally, Elite and Preferred Connectivity Partners are eligible for exclusive marketing benefits and access to financial incentive programs.

Both programs reward top connectivity providers for maintaining high-quality software connections to the Expedia Group travel platform and helping lodging properties and vacation rental property managers grow their businesses. There are two status tiers, Elite is the top tier status, followed by Preferred. Only 18 companies qualified for Elite status with Expedia Group or Vrbo, among over 400 global connectivity providers.

This is the second year for the Expedia Group Connectivity Partner Program, while the Vrbo Connectivity Partner Program is in its ninth year. Both programs are open to a range of connectivity providers including channel managers, property management systems, central reservation systems, vacation rental property management software companies, and other vendors.

To be eligible for Elite or Preferred status, Expedia Group and Vrbo connectivity providers are rated on several technical and performance criteria, including:

• Improve traveler experiences with their connected lodging properties.
• Enable a wide range of integrated tools and capabilities.
• Provide a quality connection and reliable user experience.
• Empower business growth for their customers on Vrbo and the Expedia Group travel platform.
