Derek Andersen is the Chief Financial Officer of Expedia Group. In this role, he leads the company's global finance organization and financial activities including accounting, financial reporting and analysis, internal audit, investor relations, analytics, tax, and treasury.
Prior to Expedia Group, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Snap Inc. from 2019 to 2026. Earlier in his career, he was employed at Amazon.com, Inc. from 2011 to 2018 in a variety of finance leadership roles, including Vice President of Finance supporting Amazon’s digital video business. Mr. Andersen also previously held finance and business operations roles at Fox Interactive Media, including Senior Vice President, Finance and Business Operations for IGN and Vice President, Finance.
Mr. Andersen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University and a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and is a CFA charterholder.
