Property Access Policy

The following language applies to vacation rentals booked on any Expedia Group brand sites.

Expedia is committed to reducing the number of travelers who arrive at properties without the details necessary for them to check-in. 

Policy requirements

At least 72 hours before a traveler’s check-in, you must ensure they have full property access details or—at a minimum—are notified of when and how they will be receiving the instructions. Instructions can be provided by:

Policy enforcement

If you violate this policy and a traveler is stranded due to inability to access the property, you may be required to refund the entirety of the stay. Violations could also result in removal from our platform.
